must have for sturgeon fishing

I go fishing every year up on the rainy river for sturgeon. It's a must have. The 3 and 4 oz weights would easily wear through the toughest line. It's also nice to be able to easily remove the weights from the line when storing the rod.

I bought the sinker slides a while back but I use them for the first time last week, for casting from the beach with weights of 2 oz.
After a few shots they broke at the snap clip and I lost my sinkers. The product is of poor quality.

USE IT FOR CATFISHING CLOSE TO THE DAM OR IN CURRENT. tIE A BALLOON ABOVE YOUR LEADER AND LET IT FLOAT AWAY FROM THE BOAT. WHEN IT IS FAR ENOUGH AWAY LET THE SLIDE AND SINGER GO OUT TO THE BALLOON WHICH WILL SINK THEN BURST. REALLY EXPANDS YOUR FISHING AREA.
