SAMPO SWIVELS HAVE NO PEER

The family of SAMPO SWIVELS are beyond a doubt the best fishing hardware in this category. I normally use the smallest size (0) for the fishing that I do. This report is not about the larger swivels, but I would think they are of the same high quality. I have many of these size (0) in my tackle box now that are over 10 years old and still doing the job. I fish exclusively for Walleye on Lake Erie and have harvested many larger Walleye as well as many larger Sheephead :O) and have never had these little swivels fail. If you do the math they run about $2 apiece and they are worth every penny. I have tried several other brands over the years (I am 65) and return to my SAMPOS. If you can't quite swing the bucks for the SAMPOS then SPRO would be 2nd best IMHO.

The Sampo ball bearing swivel is by far the best / highest quality swivel available. While they cost more than others, remember - you get what you pay for! These are a must for any spinfisherman (non-levelwind reels) who wants to minimize line twist. Remember, most line twist occurrs at the bail / spool of the spinning reel, not from the lure turning. I troutfish in heavy current rivers here in Michigan and would not use a lesser quality swivel. The next best swivel on the market does not even compare....Good fishin' boys!
