The coastlock ball-bearing swivels by Cabela's are an excellent value. The quality is higher than I would have expected at this price.
They are easy to deploy and solidly built.
I use these swivels fishing offshore, which is very expensive to begin with, so expense is always an issue. These swivels hold up well, and so far, other than the ones I have lost through snapped lines, I have been able to continue re-using these, so far over several trips.
The black has worn off some, but they remain a great value.
I recommend these as a great value.

Excellent Saltwater Swivels

As an economical alternative to more expensive ball bearing swivels, Cabela's has got a winner with these swivels. I select black to avoid line-cutting strikes from saltwater fish attracted to shinier swivels, and have used these in four different sizes in Alaska and Mexico. I have not had one fail in any way, and they are easy to use. While more expensive than conventional swivels, they provide me with less worry about breakage and less line twist, so I will continue to use them.

Very good product. Use in Canada for Pike and Trout. Ball bearing keeps line from twisting and holds many big pike without breaking. Also easy to fasten.
