Tica Surf Spinning Rods

High-modulus TC2 graphite blanks give these spinning rods the superior castability, backbone and sensitivity avid surf casters demand from their rods. Heat-treated stainless steel guides and rings reduce friction and prevent rust and corrosion to reduce line friction for smooth, accurate long-distance casts. The lightweight, high-quality graphite reel seat locks the reel securely in place without extra weight. They also have comfortable cork tape grips and a black stainless steel hook holder.

I recently purchased a 9' 1/2 to 3 rod. The rod was exactly what I wanted in a light weight, sensitive rod that would throw lighter weights well. The only problem was the ceramic insert on the first guide was cracked/chipped and when the braid got caught on it wind knots occurred. I returned it without a problem and am ordering another one online cause there were non in the store.

Best Fishing Rod

I have found the Tica fishing rod to be the best rod I have. I purchased the 9 ft medium light rod, and after trying it out, I can cast farther and fish longer than with any other rod. Because it is so light weight and the sensitivity so great, I can feel fish swimming up near my line. The biggest plus is that I can set a hook more quickly and easily with this rod, and I now catch more fish.
I went to a pier just the other day and landed four large sand dabs 12 " to 16", as 7 other fisherman with 0 fish looked at me in disbelief.
This rod will land large fish, from bass and rock cod to perch. You will love this rod for its versatility. I recommend it highly as the best fishing rod, and worth every penny.

Grate rod

I use it for striped bass and blues, I have it matched up with a penn 460 slamer spining reel and works grate for red fins and bomers bucktail jigs 1.5 is the sweet spot I think
