this incredible surf-fishing combo.
Like its sister reel, the Salina, the Salina Baitfeeder has a Precision Dual
Force Drag system that uses both surfaces of the spool to maximize high-end drag pressure. The patented on/off
auto-trip bait-feeding function allows you to disengage the spool to allow line to run freely with the bail closed. Hydro
Block watertight drag seal keeps components dry. Four HPB corrosion-resistant stainless steel bearings provide smooth
reliable performance. Quick-set anti-reverse roller bearing ensures rock-solid hooksets. Multidisk, Japanese oiled felt
drag washers dissipate heat efficiently. Lightweight, compact Blade Body design. Oversized solid aluminum bail wire.
The SAF-80 reel has a 4.8:1 gear ratio, weighs 27.5 oz. and holds 350 yards of 20-lb. test.
Our Salt Striker™ Surf Rods are great for everything from working jetties and long-range surf casting. They have
oversized aluminum-oxide guides, graphite reel seats, and cork tape handles that reduce the overall weight of the rod.
