Daiwa Emcast® Sport ECS6000/Cabela's Salt Striker® Surf Spinning Combo

The high-capacity Emcast® Sport reels offer an exceptional value for saltwater surf, jetty, pier or boat use. It has an eight ball-bearing and one roller-bearing drivetrain for a smooth retrieve and solid hookset. The roller bearing works with the infinite anti-reverse to land even the lightest-biting fish. Twist Buster® line twist reduction and Gyro Spin™ balancing reduces rotor wobble and tangles by laying the line on the reel neatly. Zero-friction main shaft design increases the smoothness of the reel. ABS reverse taper aluminum spool also reduces casting friction. An excellent choice for big cats, sturgeon, paddlefish as well as other heavy freshwater fish. The 6000 has a line capacity of 240 yards of 30-lb. test with a 4.6:1 gear ratio. It weighs 26.8 oz.

Salt Striker Surf Rods are great for everything from working jetties to long-range surf casting. Features include oversized aluminum oxide guides, graphite reel seats and comfortable split foam grips that help to reduce the overall weight of the rod. Each action is precisely tuned for launching baits over great distances.

Anyone looking for an AWESOME Rig for Saltwater these are where it is at!! Spanish Mackerel, Sheephead, and Black Tips were NO MATCH!! Plus I brought the Rig back to Wisconsin and used it for a Sucker Rig for Fall Musky and it works great!! The locals in Gulf Shores seen my Son and I walk up to the beach and were laughing at our big rig?!?!?! Until I rigged it up and let it fly then they were coming to me asking what I had and where I bought it from!! I doubled if not more their distance and we were catching fish, they weren't... Highly recommended to all this rig is great and best of all the Daiwa comes with 2 spools for your line of choice...Buy one and ENJOY!!! Kal
