    I have used the Alvey rod and reel combo about 10 times. It takes a little practice to learn how to cast it. Once you learn how, it is really easy to use. When you go fishing be prepared to explain everything about the Alvey reel and how to used it. It attracts a crowd of people with many questions. I recommend this combo to anyone that like to fish from the beach.
