The Spectra hybrid-braid construction incorporates a microfilament nylon fiber with the braid. This hybrid
construction
produces a braid that is ideally suited for casting and spinning. The unique braid has increased body for less rod-tip
wraps, higher abrasion resistance, and higher knot strength over traditional braided lines. The hybrid construction
increases stretch to a maximum of 5%, making the line more forgiving for demanding conditions where increased
shock loading occurs. The silicone coating provides less friction, helps cast farther and last longer.
