Fireline Braid

I recall using a heavy black braided line in my youth on an old casting reel that required untangling a bird's nest backlash on just about every cast.
Of course, casting reels have been much improved as have braided line. I was amazed how thin and light this line was for a 20# test line. My only issue is that it is a bit tricky to tie the knot because it is so thin. It also is very limp and resists the dreded memory coiling of monofiliment line. I love it.

I have been using fireline for about 6 years now. I love it. Get yourself some good clippers, this stuff is hard to cut or break for that matter.
