Do not smooth and round the line. For declared 9kg -6kg max real weight. Breaks are not on knot. Good line, unless it is damaged, breaks only at the knot. Very poor or very old the line.

Good looking line but is as thick as rope. I bought the 30# test with the expectation that the diameter would be smaller than my anchor line. Cabelas should list the diameter so people can make an informed choice.

I use this line for flathead catfishing. Landed a 62lb brute with this line. While reeling the fish in I never thought twice of line breaking. I have been fishing with this line for years and has never let me down. I just wish Cabelas would keep it in stock at my local store.

Braided Dacron

The braided dacron is an excellent line to use as a backing material. Primarily fish lake michigan for salmon and the line is much better to use with in line board clips than say a power pro or fireline.
