The screen was unwieldy to attach so that all would meet at the zipper. Once it's up, there's one way in unless you crawl under the edge so you have to decide if you want easy access from your tent or an outer side. Having a second entrance, perhaps closed with velcro, would have been very convenient. In the past, without a screen, we liked to set up our canopy very close especially in the case of rain. You can't set it up tight up against the tent or a shower enclosure or you'll lose access and won't be able to easily get in or out. I liked the feeling of enclosure since we camp at festivals and have little privacy, but my husband didn't. The screen was a modest wind block, good on a cool morning, but also an airflow block so you need to pull up the sides on a warm day. As it turned out, mosquitos were not an issue this time around, my primary reason for buying the screen.
This screen goes on fairly easily if the directions are followed! Do work from the zipped ends out! Wish that the screen were black as the white causes so much light refraction that it is hard to see out. We have a gorgeous view that we hate to miss. However, the screen stops the black flies and the mosquitoes and quite a bit of the breeze. This makes us wish that there were additional stakes that came with and guy lines to add tie downs against gusts of wind. It would help the stability. Otherwise, it is doing its job. We will see if it will last longer than the three summers of our former screened room enclosure.
