Something like this has been long overdue. Its small, lightweight to move around and compact. It will fit 2 camp chairs and a small table nicely. you may be able to get 4 chairs in there but its pushing it. It is sturdier than I thought it would be. I did not find it cheaply made or coming apart like others complain. It is a screen tent, so one has to be careful when working with an attached screen during set up and take down. I have had these sort of pop-up tents before and it holds up much better in the wind than my umbrella style pop-up beach tent does. I had it in winds up to @ 11mph, but near a tree and a building to help break winds, and it did fine. stakes and lines are included and you have to secure all these to the ground. I would not put it up in winds much more than 11 mph or for continuously wind days, either. Same for my old screen tent (which the wind trashed) and beach tent, so unless I want to lug around something 3 times as heavy, I will abide by the wind rules.
the lighting tent is only 11 pounds, so I can lift it and carry to a camp site or to the park for a day, easily. no wheels or carts, or second person needed. we even want to buy a second one for our small balcony.
This screen room is conceptually a great product. Unfortunately the manufacturer has produced a sub-sub-sub standard product. We purchased our first Screen Room and it had extra stitching holes across the roof. We returned that one and got number 2 Screen Room. It had a bent side pole and the cabana would was unstable and would collapse. We returned that one and got number 3 Screen Room. The plastic hub in the ceiling was brittle and fell apart. We're 0 for 3. We'll look for a similar product with much better quality. What a disappointment!
I use this easy- up light weight screen room as a portable painting studio when camping. It's great for keeping the bugs out of my paint and keeping me in the shade. I can put it up by myself in just minutes. (I'm retired). I'm really enjoying it. Hope it lasts as long as I do.
We put it up, but it kept blowing over in the wind. A washer was missing on one side which didn't help any. So my husband tried to fix it. Then it fell apart. We sent it back since it was poorly constructed and defective. I wish it had been sturdier, as it looked nice and I wanted to sit in the shade on sunny days in the campground. Now we will have to shop around for a different one.
