Fast Flight Recurve Bow String

Unlike Flemish strings, many modern bow strings found in stores have half the number of fiber strands in the loops, and this is where most bow strings break. These Flemish strings are constructed with Fast Flight fibers featuring the traditional twisted loop design. Fast Flight contains Spectra fibers and is lighter than Dacron, creating a faster shooting bow. It also stretches less during the shot, absorbing less of the bow's energy. They come in AMO lengths to fit your recurve. Order by AMO bow length.

good string, not any faster

Good solid string. I needed a backup and thought I' get a bit more speed out of this Fast Flight. Chono'd it today and it shoots the same 160 fps as the string that came with my Bear Grizzly. That's not really a problem, but buyers should know. Also, the nocks sit a bit looser on the Fast Flight. Again, it shoots just fine, but using my pointer finger to hold the arrow on the rest while I draw sometimes caused the nock to come off the string. Just gotta pay attention.

Grateful that Cabelas has strings in stock for traditional bows. Normally I order from another supplier, but that takes several days. Find that the Cabelas strings are easily as good if not better than elsewhere, even if the cost is higher. The convenience is worth it.
