I decided to learn to tie my own loops. I ordered this roll of loop material, watched a video on how to tie your own loop and Now I can tie my own. No longer have to carry my bow to the shop when I need a new loop.
As a seasoned bow hunter, I've seen the transformation from fingers to releases, in the industry. Having said that, this material is probably the toughest D-loop I've ever used. The secret to a good loop, (no matter what the size), is bow wax. Lube this material up, and you will get a very tight loop. I really like this material, it last's a long time and it's tough.
For the guy/gal that wants to save a few bucks and put more of yourself into your archery, this is a start. It's easy and fun to make your own loops . I find that 7 1/2 " is the optimum length to cut the pieces. Burn each end after cutting and douse in water when the melted string forms a ball.
