Deadly Pattern!

I used a brown variant (#8) of this pattern this morning, and caught 6 nice trout from the same run in less than 30 minutes. This stream is loaded with crawfish, and the reddish brown variant I used strongly resembles that forage. Strikes were extremely agressive, and I managed to land 6 of the 8 fish that I hooked.

I suspect that this pattern will also work very well on smallmouth, though I didn't catch any on this trip.

I bought these at our local Cabelas store in Connecticut, but for some reason they don't seem to carry the brown variation on the web site. Hope I can find more of these, because I only have 2 left!
