Fly is very interesting. It can be fished a variety of ways.
The most fun I've had with it, is applying floatant, and twitching it across pools like a panfish popper. I've caught wild brookies and browns, both species to 12", in small streams with "gin clear" water.

Hot Hornberg

This fly has become my old standby. When nothing else works I just throw in a #14 yellow hornberg and the trout magically appear. Just the other day I was having no luck with my nymphs, I put on a hornberg and landed an 18 inch rainbow on my second cast. Next cast to the same spot and I pulled out a 15 inch rainbow. Everybody needs a couple of these in their arsenal.
