We knew that archery hunting for antelope would be tough, but this was more than we expected. The bulrushes would provide enough cover for us, but we would be more than 50 yards away from the water, and the five-foot tall weeds created an obstructed view. Left with few options, my partner purchased a Titan 2 Double Bull blind. Using the blind, we were able to cut the distance in half and were left with a clear view of everything on the desert.
At a distance the blind was virtually invisible as it blended perfectly with the sparse natural foliage, but up close, we worried that the blind would stand out from the stark barrenness that surrounded it. The antelope, however, didn't seem too bothered by the new structure as they came to the watering hole, some a bit warily and others as if nothing was out of the ordinary. We passed on a couple smaller bucks and errantly sent an arrow over the top of another before our hunt ended, leaving us empty handed as far as antelope went, but throughly convinced of the effectiveness of the blind.
We both made the observation that the Titan 2 blind would be perfect for spring turkeys since both of us had been busted by gobblers on numerous occasions when we had to move to get a shot. The best part of hunting out of the blind was that it provides freedom of movement to scope, adjust positions and draw without the fear of being seen.

The Titan 2 stands a mere 5'4" high at the center, short enough to hide from game, but plenty of height for an archer to draw and shoot without limitations. The blind is seven feet wide and provides ample space for two full-sized hunters, lawn chairs, water jugs and a cooler, with plenty of room to draw and shoot from any angle. With a depth of more than five feet, turkey hunters will have no problem shouldering and shooting a shotgun without worrying about their gun barrel protruding out the shooting windows.
One of the unique features of the Titan 2 is the 52-inch see-through screen that appears solid from the outside, but provides a clear view of everything in front of you from the inside. The screen is also pass-through, allowing bowhunters to shoot through the netting without interrupting the flight of the arrow, including those equipped with mechanical broadheads, and will take 20 to 30 shots before it needs to be replaced. Four other shooting windows are provided, with silent flaps that close, giving the hunter 360-degrees of shooting angles, eliminating any blocked shots.
Visibility into the blind from an opened shooting window is eliminated by the blackened interior and the pitched roof provides a more natural shape and protection from wind and rain. A full-length zipper makes getting in and out easy and provides plenty of ventilation when daytime temperatures soar. The Titan 2 is extremely lightweight and comes with a carrying case to pack it to your remote hunting spot. Set-up takes literally seconds and the provided D-rings allow you to stake down the blind to secure it in windy conditions.

Having now spent several days hunting out of the Titan blinds, I can't imagine hunting without one. I was amazed at how comfortable the blind is to sit in and enjoyed the protection from the cool winds and rains of the morning and the blistering heat in the afternoons. We've even used it as a shelter for ice fishing trips. After having come up short on our antelope hunt, we're now headed out to the turkey woods with our Titan 2 in hopes of taking our wary birds with bows this year.
