What happens when you call 911, and help is 2-4 days away?  What if you can’t call 911 because you are in the mountains?  This course will not only prepare the outdoor enthusiast on how to help when EMS is not 10 minutes away, but will also teach you basic survival techniques when they are needed most.  This 16-hour course is our most popular expanded Basic First Aid/CPR course, with an emphasis on things found in nature, and concluded with actual hands-on treatment with actors who are patients with injuries.  Also included in class is a full-color textbook for each student, a 2-year First Aid/CPR card, and a Wilderness First Aid/CPR certificate. Cost is $150 for the entire course. Minimum class size is 15 students; max class size is 25 students.

This concealed firearm permit class has been designed to qualify students to obtain several different concealed firearm permits including Oregon, Utah, and Arizona permits. Depending upon residency you can be qualified to carry in up to 37 states. The course is taught by NRA certified instructors. The cost is $80 and paid to the instructor for the Utah or Arizona permit; and $20 extra for Oregon. Each state has an application fee NOT included in class fee.

If your group would like a guided tour of our store, please contact the Events Coordinator, at 360-252-3535 for tour details. Our walking tour includes our aquarium of Northwest fish species, more than 300 trophy mounts including, an African safari diorama and much more. In addition, we have rare and collectible handguns, rifles and shotguns in our Gun Library, a shooting gallery, and free fudge samples in our General Store.
Donation Guidelines      
Cabela’s is proud to provide support for area charities and conservation partners. Due to the large volume of requests received, we have established a policy for all donations. Our retail program supports nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations located within 100 miles of this retail store. All requests must be submitted online for consideration at least forty-five days prior to the event.

In order to assist the largest number of organizations annually, we can consider only one donation request per organization, per calendar year.
