Concealed Firearms Permit Class Tuesday, July 29th 5:00pm - 9:00pm Conference Room Next to Cascade Grill Restaurant
This concealed carry firearm permit class has been designed to qualify students to obtain several different permits including Oregon, Utah and Arizona permits. Depending on residency, you can be qualified to carry in up to 37 states.  This course is taught by NRA certified instructors. Cost:
The cost is $80 for the Utah or Arizona permit and $20 extra for Oregon.  Each state has an application fee NOT included in the class fee.  Everything needed to submit is included.

Hunter Education Monday - Friday, August 4th - 8th 6:00pm - 8:30pm Cabela’s Conference Room Next to Cascade Grill Restaurant
Hunter education training is required in Washington State for all hunters born after January 1, 1972.  Hunter education classes focus on three broad topical areas: firearms and outdoor safety; wildlife management and hunter responsibility.  All instructors for this Traditional Classroom Course will be provided by the Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Women’s Introduction to Handguns Saturday, August 9th 9:00am - 3:00pm Conference Room Next to Cascade Grill Restaurant and Evergreen Gun Club
Interested in learning about Handguns? Instruction for Women, By Women. Come out and learn from trained professionals in a stress-free environment. We are women shooters who are interested in helping empower women. Shooting is no longer just a man’s sport. Why should the boys have all the fun? Come out and see what it is all about.

The Introduction class is a 6 hour class focused on learning:
• The 4 fundamental safety rules
• Basic Handgun Load, Unload, and Clear
• Basic Shooting Skills: Stance, Grip, Sight Alignment, Trigger Control

You will have the opportunity to fire a variety of firearms under the direction of our staff. This will give you real-world experience with the skills you have learned in the classroom. Firearms and ammunition will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

To be considered, please review the following:
  • Requests must be submitted online to Sponsorships, Donations & Advertising. Written or e-mailed requests will not be accepted.
  • Requests must be submitted at least sixty (60) days prior to the event.
  • We can only fulfill one request per organization per year. Multiple requests within a calendar year will not be accepted.
  • Organizations must be a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity and be able to provide documentation.
  • Organizations must be located within 100 miles of the retail store.
  • Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.

If your group would like a guided tour of our store, please contact the Marketing Manager, at 360-252-3535 for tour details. Our walking tour includes our aquarium of Northwest fish species, more than 300 trophy mounts including, an African safari diorama and much more. In addition, we have rare and collectible handguns, rifles and shotguns in our Gun Library, a shooting gallery, and free fudge samples in our General Store.
Story Time at Cabela's First Saturday of the Month 11:00am Camping Department
Volunteer readers from the South Sound Reading Foundation will spend 20 minutes reading outdoor stories about camping, hiking, boating or other exciting wilderness experiences. Oriented to the child 4 to 9 years of age, the selected readings will expose participating children to wonderful outdoor and wilderness stories. The child may not be left unattended. A parent or grandparent must be present.
