 Our Concealed Carry Endorsement – Firearms Safety Training Course meets the mandatory training requirements established by Missouri State Statute and is approved by the standards set forth by each individual Missouri Sheriff's Department. In addition, this training course exceeds the standards and requirements set forth by the state of Florida for their respective Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit. Handgun knowledge and/or experience is NOT required in order to take this course! The course places a special emphasis on:
The course consists of eight (8) hours of intense instruction, beginning with an interactive lecture held at Cabela's, followed by live-fire range training at Ultimate Defense Firing Range and Training Center. Upon successful completion of training, each individual will be issued a certificate of Firearms Safety Training and the appropriate completed paperwork necessary for submitting your Concealed Carry application. Owning or providing your own firearm is not a requirement. A .22 caliber semi-automatic and revolver and ammunition will be provided at no charge. If you choose to bring your own firearm(s), you will need to bring total of 140 rounds of ammunition. All firearms must be carried in closed case, unloaded, and readily available for inspection. Project Appleseed is an activity of The Revolutionary War Veterans Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to teaching every American our shared heritage and history as well as traditional rifle marksmanship skills. Our volunteer instructors travel across the country teaching those who attend about the difficult choices, the heroic actions, and the sacrifices that the Founders made on behalf of modern Americans, all of whom are their posterity. Our heritage program vividly portrays the Battles of Lexington and Concord with the kind of care and immediacy that is absent from most formal schooling. Modern listeners are confronted with the danger, the fear, and the heartbreaking separations that arose out of the choices made on April 19th, 1775. They are also reminded of the marksmanship skills and masterful organization that ultimately helped set the colonists on the path to success. Those who attend gain a better understanding of the fundamental choices faced by our ancestors as they began to set the stage for the nation we now enjoy. We invite you to attend our Annual Appleseed Safety, Marksmanship and Heritage Clinic. Due to the large volume of requests received, we have established policy for all donations. Our retail program supports Nonprofit 501(c) (3) organizations located within Missouri. All requests must be mailed on official letterhead of the beneficiary at least sixty days prior to the event date. Request can be submitted to: http://information.cabelas.com/support In order for your request to be considered, please include the following information: date of the event and brief description, information on the beneficiary, how you plan to use item (auction, raffle, etc.), and contact name and telephone number. In order to assist the largest number of organizations annually, we can consider only one donation request per organization, per calendar year.
