Learn the basics of metallic reloading.  Pistol and Rifle cartridge loading is demonstrated and performed by the student.  This NRA certified course includes instruction on load development, basic ballistics, equipment selection and use and most importantly, safety.  You will be loading .38 Special and .223 Remington ammunition in this class.  We use a broad variety of equipment in the class to provide you with the ability to make an educated decision on what equipment is right for your needs.   In addition to the core curriculum, we also include coverage of special topics including use of military brass for rifle, special measurements for long range rifle ammunition, handling of .40 S&W case bulging, tuning of ammunition to the gun and more.  Students receive the NRA Guide to Reloading, and course completion Certificate in addition to actual reloading experience. NRA Shot Shell Reloading Class June 23, Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Conference Room
Learn the basics of shot shell reloading.  Shot Shell reloading is demonstrated and then performed by the student using Lee and MEC equipment in 20 and 12 Ga.  This NRA certified course includes instruction on load selection, component selection, equipment selection and setup. Most importantly key safety issues and practices are demonstrated and discussed.  This course has been enhanced with additional information regarding low recoil, high performance wads and special techniques and components for target and hunting applications.  Students receive the NRA Guide to Reloading, and course completion Certificate in addition to actual reloading experience.
 
Take the June 22nd Metallic Reloading class and this class, and receive a $50 discount on the Shot Shell class. Preregistration and a deposit of $40 is required.

Utah and Wisconsin Concealed Carry Class Saturday, June 29th 2:00pm – 6:00pm Conference Room
Triad Consulting Wisconsin/Utah Concealed Carry License instruction is $65 per person.  This is a non-shooting class and fulfills the training requirement for a Wisconsin Concealed Carry License and a Utah Concealed Firearms Permit and Florida Non Resident Permit.  Together these permits allow you to carry in over 34 states including Minnesota, Texas and Arizona.

Topics include: Firearms Safety, basic self defense principals, conflict avoidance and alternatives to deadly force, Wisconsin use of force law, Wisconsin Concealed Carry law Act 35, Practical aspects of safe concealed carry, demonstration and instruction on drawing a handgun.

Jeff Whisler is a lead instructor. His shooting resume includes over 25 years of competitive shooting experience. Jeff has attended the prestigious Gunsite Academy, training with such notables as Jeff Cooper, Patrick Rogers and Louis Awerbuck earning the coveted "Expert" rating. NRA Range Safety Officer Class June 30, Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Conference Room
This course will certify you as an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer. Whether you work at a range or just want to enhance your firearm safety skills, this course will benefit you. Specifically the course provides you with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting operation(s) and activities. You will learn the roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures, range rules and inspection, the all-important range briefing, emergency procedures and working through firearm malfunctions/stoppages. Pre-Registration is required, along with a deposit of $50. No walk-ins are allowed. Utah and Wisconsin Concealed Carry Class Saturday, July 20th 2:00pm – 6:00pm Conference Room
Utah Concealed Firearms Permit, Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit, Florida Concealed Weapons License class meet the standards for the WISCONSIN Carry License. Class is ONE session. Class instructed by @ A Moment's Notice; LLC. All instructors are Certified NRA Instructors, Utah Bureau Criminal Identification Instructors & or Ex-Military, State Security Instructors or Current Law Enforcement Officers.

Fee is $50 for the class. Fee for fingerprinting & Passport Photos for Utah Application.  Please arrive 40 minutes early to class for paperwork.

Cabela's will be hosting the 2013 Wisconsin Waterfowl Association State Duck and Goose Calling Championship on August 17 in Richfield, WI.  The day's events will begin with the Adult Wisconsin State Duck Calling Competition, followed by the Duck & Goose Youth Event for children up to the age of 11.  The Duck & Goose Youth Event for youth the ages of 12 to 17 will then compete ending the event with the Adult Wisconsin State Goose Calling Championship.
