Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunter Education Course Saturday December 6th 9:00AM Deli Conference Room
Do you love the outdoors, time spent with family, great food and even better memories? Join the thousands of people taking to the fields to hunt this year and experience the sport for yourself. Basic Hunter’s Education will give you the tools needed to have fun and be prepared in the field and off.
 
Children must be at least 9 years old to be certified. To hunt legally in the State of Texas, everyone born on or after September 2, 1971, must successfully complete a Hunter Education Basic Course. Hunters born before the specified date may still need to take the class in preparation to hunt in another state.

Driftwood CHL Concealed Carry Class Saturday December 13th 9:00AM Deli Conference Room
Want a Concealed Handgun License (CHL)?  An original (first-time) CHL applicant must complete four to six hours of classroom training, pass a written examination and pass a proficiency demonstration (shooting). All classroom and proficiency must be conducted by a CHL instructor certified by DPS.

Cabela's is proud to be a part of our community and support area charities and conservation partners. Each year, we provide donations to non-profit organizations for fundraising auctions and raffles.

To be considered, please review the following:
  • Requests must be submitted online to Sponsorships, Donations & Advertising. Written or e-mailed requests will not be accepted.
  • Requests must be submitted at least sixty (60) days prior to the event.
  • We can only fulfill one request per organization per year. Multiple requests within a calendar year will not be accepted.
  • Organizations must be a non-profit 501(c)(3) entity and be able to provide documentation.
  • Organizations must be located within 75 miles of the retail store.
  • Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.
