Cabela's is proud to offer this industry-leading course for people interested in learning how to fly fish. The course will begin with a two-hour Introduction to Fly Fishing course that will cover equipment, basic entomology, basic casting and knot tying. The class will conclude with a one-hour Introduction to Fly Casting course, where participants will receive hands-on training on the fundamentals of fly casting, including overhead techniques and roll casting. 12:30-2:30: Introduction to Fly Fishing 2:30-3:30: Introduction to Fly Casting PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED! This one class qualifies students to obtain both the Utah or Arizona concealed firearm permits. This combination will allow you to carry a firearm in up to 37 different states including OH, PA, WV, VA, etc. To register or for more information please visit www.mylegalheat.com or call 1-877-252-1055. *Class fee is $75. This course only qualifies applicants to apply for a permit and permits are not issued the day of the class. Are you tired of your typical weekend? Grab your mom, sister, friend or co-worker and bring them to a NWTF Women in the Outdoors event to experience the outdoors in a comfortable and fun setting. Previous experience in the outdoors is not required! This event is about learning new things and meeting new friends. All of the classes will be taught by experienced instructors from Cabela’s, Pheasant Valley Farms and the Reading Ridge Runners Chapter of the NWTF. Classes to choose from: Dog Training, Archery, Shotguns 101, Outdoor Cooking, Fly Tying & Casting, Trapping 101 & It’s All About Food. Pre-registration is required. The $65 registration fee includes: your choice of 4 expertly instructed classes and required equipment, continental breakfast and lunch and a 1 year membership to the NWTF WITO program. * This is an off-site event at Pheasant Valley Farms in Robesonia, PA. This is a six-hour training class required by law for all first-time hunters and trappers before they can buy a license. You must pass a certification exam at the end of the class to complete this training. Prior to attending this class, you must complete the online independent study part of this training. This independent study will require about 4 hours to complete. All registrants for this event must be 11 years of age by July 20, 2013.
