screws are cheap, the heads all got rounded due to the soft metal, they are also not long enough to go through the hanger and far enough into the stud. one hanger pulled out of wall when the kayak was hung

This hanger went up easily and is a real space saver. I have a large sit-on-top kayak and it only sticks out about 15 inches from the wall. I mounted the hangers close to the floor and store the boat with the top side to the wall. After reading other reviews, I chose this over the harness/hoist that mounts to the ceiling and I am glad I did.
