Having purchased the Primos Double Bull QS3 Magnum Tri-Stool back in August, I have had the opportunity to witness 72 hours of field convenience this product provides. Specifically, the Magnum is rugged, lightweight, maneuverable, and comfortable.
Very comfortable seat. Easy set up, you can sit for hours in all weather conditions. For me it needs a longer strap when wearing heavy colthing in the winter/late fall. Best buy for your money.
I am 6'3" and 295 pounds, and this chair really WORKS for me like no other hunting chair I have tried. I like my creature comforts when hunting! The chair is awkward to carry for long distances with the strap provided. I cut it off and replaced it with a backpack rifle sling, which I attached with heavy plastic electrical ties. I wrapped some duct tape next to the ties to keep them from sliding on the legs. Now, the chair just sits on the middle of my back, completely out of the way and does not interfere with shooting when carried this way, and I can still wear a fanny pack when carrying the chair. I like to still hunt and then sit a while to rest my back, and this method of carry lends itself well to this. Also, the chair feels almost weightless when carried in the backpack mode. One word of warning: There are three 1/4x20 flat head stainless screws that hold three of the chair legs into the chair feet. These come loose and fall out after a while. When the chair is new, clean these and Loctite them in place.
