I love the Fat Boy cushion. I used it in the tree stand and on the ground. Most seats after a while feel like you are sitting on nothing at all. Not this seat, I sat for hours and it was very comfortable

FatBoy Lite Elite Vs. the FatBoy Comfort

It was very hard for me to tell the different between the Hunt Fat Boy Lite Elite (New L-Core Technology introduced in 2006, Antimicrobial Medical Grade Foam) and the Hunt Fat Boy Comfort series (Gel inlaid in Medical Grade Foam). I sat on both today in the store for a good few minutes each to test the difference between the two and I'll be honest with you fellas, they both felt the same to me. I tested all seats in the store that they had and there was a definitive difference between in all these product lines and Hunt's FatBoy series was hand's down, head and shoulders above the rest.
The reason why I choosed the Cabela brand Lite-Elite over the FatBoy (Gel) Comfort series was that the FatBoy Lite Elite also incorporates a slip resistant ToughTek bottom for extra durability and abrasion resistant. I don't like to get wet, expecially on my fanny, and I read a series of reviews about the Fat Boy Comfort series (which is water resistant) absorbing water. The Fat Boy Elite Lite Cabela brand was the only seat on the shelf that had the durable (waterproof) ToughTek technology on it (a non-slip fabric made from stretchable 100% polyester knit fabric with a special textured Neoprene rubber outer coating) .
If you have back problems/pain, or plan on sitting on your keester for more then three hours I would recommend the FatBoy Comfort Gel Technology without hesistation, but if you're like me and are not planning an all day hunting adventure and want something light, durable and comfortable for a lesser price? I would definitely recommend the Cabela brand Lite-Elite over the FatBoy (Gel) Comfort series and save yourself some doe-ray-me and purchase the Cabela brand Hunt FatBoy Lite Elite series.

I used the Hunt Comfort Elite this spring while turkey hunting, and to be honest it wasn't very comfortable. It is more expensive than most other cushions, but really not anymore comfortable. I would not recommend purchasing. Save your money.

Good Seat

Only down side to seat is the price. It is light enough to carry comfortably. A good seat to sit on on flat surfaces, very comfortable. Bottom does not help much to keep it and you from sliding on sloped surfaces. Only real down fall I see is the price. I would most likely buy it again if looking for a seat, but I think the price could be lower for what you get for the money.
