Excellent quality mount
Date:
Thompson Center\u2019s Encore Scope Mount is an excellent mount; it fits snug and follows the contour of the barrel of my T/C Impact 50 Cal. Have not had the chance to use the gun out in the field yet so will have to sight in the scope and get back to you when I\u2019ve had the opportunity to field test the mount under actual field experience.

Works but needed adjustment
Date:
1st - the rail does not match the contour of the barrel so at the muzzle end, there is a gap between the barrel and the rail.
2nd - not enough slots to give a good selection of mounting location. I am mounting an EO Tech site which uses a through bolt in the channels. The slots are either too far forward or too far back.
I ended up cutting a groove with the table saw to give my my desired mount location and cut it off flush with the front of the site. This solved both of my problems.
