This lightweight, glass-filled nylon bipod weighs about 7 ounces. The snap-n-lock button folds the legs forward, down or rearward, while the thumbscrew extends/retracts legs (9" to 13"). It has non-slip rubber feet and allows use of a sling. Easy to install, it mounts to the bayonet lug. All hardware is included. Comes with a lifetime warranty. Made in USA.
This is not a bad product for the money, but you get what you see. It's pretty clunky and big, so say goodbye to your usual rifle carriers, because it won't fit once you install this. Though it is so easy to put on and take off the bipod, you could easily just remove it after every use and reinstall later. Adjusting the height of the legs is also a snap. It's good for shooting at the range, where the height of the shooter, the bench, and the target all remain constant. But if any of those constants become variables, be ready for a lot of adjustment of the legs and for maneuvering your body around the bipod (that's not a criticism of this particular bipod but bipods in general#. I would definitely recommend this to someone who has never used a bipod #like me before I bought this) but wants to try it. If you don't like it, you're not out a lot of money.
It looks good for display but made cheap. It isn't hard to put together but even on the box it says dont shoot with legs folded down. The whole thing is made of weak plastic and moves around a lot. But it does look good for display and if you can make a new mount out of metal it would be a lot better.
Nice for display (only). Flimsy thin plastic, which broke while sighting in. Forward or rear movement of gun caused legs to snap. Nice looking but not practical for hunting.
