Hogue® Rifle Stock With Full-Length Bedding Block

The Hogue Rifle Stock with Full-Length Bedding Block is one of the revolutionary OverMolding™ series stocks. The O.M. process bonds a special rubber compound to a super-strong and rigid fiberglass reinforced stock that precisely fits specific rifle actions. This precision molding means that you get a perfect drop-in fit every time. It is also extremely quiet, great for still-hunting in nasty cover. Recoil pads are constructed from a blend of shock-absorbing materials for maximum energy absorption and greater shooting accuracy and enjoyment. The full-length machined aluminum bedding block ensures rock-solid action/stock contact for consistently superior accuracy – something found in very few other synthetic replacement stocks.
Approximate weight: 2 lbs. 15 oz.

    excellent stock.
    Date:
This was a great improvement for my Remington 700 ADL 30-06. I had to convert from ADL to BDL to make it work, but it was well worth it. The stock is durable, has a great feel, and is very accurate. Installation was easy. Only complaint is the price, but overall I recommend the stock.

    Love the new Hogue stock
    Date:
As advertised, the stock fit the barrel and action perfectly. No adjustment or modification required at all. The rifle shoots better than it did with the original stock, which was my hope. I would buy another Hogue stock without hesitation.

Not A Drop In Fit for Rem 700
    Date:
This stock is not a drop in fit for all Rem. 700 rifles. Also, in my case, the issue was not related to the position or fit of the recoil lug as per the instructions provided by Hogue for Rem. 700 rifles. Rather the bedding block the action rests on was slightly canted to one side. It took a lot of work to get the barrel centered in the stocks forearm including bedding around the recoil lug. I like the stock, it is quiet and stiff with no flex. However, it's not a drop in fit as advertised by Hogue. If you purchase the stock the and the fit is not perfect with the barrel free floated I would strongly recommend you return the stock rather than try to make it fit.
