Bell & Carlson Replacement Rifle Stocks – Black Web

These stocks have excellent strength, rigidity and durability achieved with a special composition that includes hand-placed layers of fiberglass, aramid and carbon fiber throughout the stock. Stocks are lighter than conventional wood stocks in both weight and recoil. They will withstand hard use, moisture and fast-changing temperatures. Each boasts fine-line checkering, a textured finish and a quality recoil pad. Rifle stocks weigh approximately 32 oz., have 13-1/2" L.O.P., and select stocks come in right- or left-hand models. Uncle Mike's sling posts included. Stock only.

It wasn't a perfect drop-in. I had to have a gunsmith fine tune it a little bit. But it wasn't much,
It looks good and my rifle shoots great.

Recommended with some modification to stock. Once I opened the box to the gun stock I was thrilled at the workmanship on looks. It was a nice looking piece. Once I tried to install my barrel and works I had a problem with the match. The grooves in the stock had a few points that were not cut properly therefore not setting properly. A gunsmith could have cut the irregular high spots out but I didn't want to spend more money on a stock that should of fit without any modifications. I sent it back for a refund.

this stock was junk. poor finish, not even close to fitting my rifle, even though it was supposed to be a drop in fit. a rock hard recoil pad, just very cheaply made and finished. I was replacing a bell and carlson stock purchased many years before which was of a much superior quality. I sent this back rather than spending countless hours fitting and replacing the recoil pad.
