Everything about the MaxRap shouts premium, right down to its laser-engraved scales, VMC® Spark Point hooks and patented internal MaxCast mechanism. The lure has an aerodynamic shape that lets you achieve incredible casting distances to cover more water. The MaxRap is versatile. You can rip it for a erratic darting action, use a straight retrieve to take advantage of that classic Rapala minnow wobble, or allow it to suspend and twitch it enticingly. Aerodynamic body shape and balanced tungsten balls for casting distance and accuracy. Oval line tie. Deep, penetrating 3-D holographic eyes. Each lure is hand-tuned and tank-tested. Per each.

The Best Lure Rapla has made.

I Bought this lure 3 years ago and since then i catch bass and wallaye on it all the time. In spring time it is the best especially in shallow water. You can also troll with it. Retrive in slow takes some practice to learn but overall excellent lure by rapala.

Unimpressive Performance

The only thing that still impressed me about this lure after using it was getting my money back for it. The action was so subtle the fish didn't even notice the lure; it had the action of a pencil as I reeled it in. As far as Rapala lures go; stick with the originals, countdowns, husky jerks, and x-raps.

I bought this lure and every time i used it, the lure caught some big bass. I would recommend this lure to any bass and pike fisherman.

Used this lure in silver casting for eyes at night with great success in shallow water. Fish it slow, works great.
