Great Stereo for the price!!
Date:
The stereo came in the waterproof housing, only 8 screws were need for mounting, very easy to mount. The system works flawlessly and sounds pretty good. My only concern with the product is the plastic mounting brackets but due to placement in my boat, I have tol build a new on out of Al sheet metal or steel to keep this aspect of the system from possible breakage.

It's not a bad deal
Date:
Installed this into my friends boat over the weekend. The speakers, box, and radio seem to be of decent quality. The directions are pretty lame, but this wasn't a problem due to previous car stereo installation experience. However, the tuning on the radio itself is a complete PITA as It keeps switching back to scan just about every time you want to manually move between stations. It does have nice sound quality but making EQ adjustments is also a PITA. All in all, I don't think it's a bad deal, but I would like the kit better with a sony or kenwood stereo in lieu of the jensen.
