This is a nice scope kit for the price.
It fits the needs that I intended to use it for.
I don't like having to refocus after vooming in though.

First week of use internal screw stripped and locked up the zoom while putting small pieces of plastic into field of view. No warrantee that I can find. Good buy for me because now I know I want a good spotting scope.

This product is certainly well worth the money. The performance is very good considering the cost of the scope versus what one can pay for a top shelf spotting scope. The only flaw that I find is that the mounting attachment from the tripod to the scope could be improved to make it stronger or more durable, mine broke almost immeadiately but the excellent customer service people at Cabela's made it right. The image viewed through the scope is obviously much brighter and clear at the lower settings but for my purposes they provide all the power I need. I use it for bench shooting and watching the ocean from my balcony. I don't think one can do better when considering cost to performance ratio.
