I purchased this spotting scope kit for the rifle range. I generally shoot at targets 100, 200, and 300 yards. The scope produces a decent image at 100 yards, making it fairly easy to see my shot. It produces an acceptable, but slightly blurry, image at 200, making it a little tougher to see shots. I haven't tried to view a target at 300, but based on what I see at 200 yards, I don't expect a very good image. I know how to adjust the focus, but the image was not as sharp as more expensive scopes. You get what you pay for with optics and I was well aware of that when I decided to purchase this scope. I still believe this is a decent scope for the price. However, If you want a really clear, sharp image at long distances, save your money and buy a better scope.
The case and stand are decent quality and should last several years. The camera attachment seems a little fragile. I don't plan to use it, so it's not an issue for me.

A decent purchase for the price conscious shopper. Expect a clear field of view up to the 45x. After that it becomes fuzzy. Nice for sighting in or watching deer.

Better optics than expected

Bought this scope on sale for half-price yesterday; never owned a scope before. My wife watches birds and the digital camera adapter interested her; I wanted a scope for the rifle range and to explore wildlife on our property in the Arkansas Ozarks. Today, a clear and sunny day, we went to a lake and set the scope on the hood of the truck. We watches Pelicans and other water fowl, I was astonished with the clarity of the scope. I watched Egrets several hundred yards away roosting on a tree and after the scope was focused, the birds were very clear. I am sure that there are better scopes out there but this scope (if it will last) is a great value and plenty good enough to watch wildlife and your groups out to 100 yards on the range. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that I don't know if the scope will last.

I have needed a scope and borrowing scopes from friends or my local range when needed. This scope was offered with a good rebate and was cheaper than any other scope I had seen. I was skeptical but it fit my current budget. I was greatly surprised by this scope and its performance. This scope is much clearer that any Barska spotting scope or other mid range scope that I have borrowed. It comes with a really nice hard case and even a camera mount for snapping pics of your target, if needed. I will probably never use it, but nice to have. I am surprising happy with quality and clarity of this spotting scope, especially for its price.
