The all-new magnesium technology in this scope makes it extremely light in weight, yet maintains maximum stability. Precision-made fluoride HD lenses and coated prisms with Swarovski's own Swarotop® and Swarodur® produce all-around color fidelity and crisp, high-contrast images. This spotting scope is the only choice if you're looking for a high level of color fidelity, brightness, image quality and focusing sharpness. It's watertight to a depth of 13 ft. and filled with nitrogen to prevent fogging. The zoom eyepiece includes a twist-in eyecup, so eyeglass wearers can enjoy a full field of view. The lightweight, yet highly rugged alloy housing is covered in a noise-absorbing rubber armor for absolute silence. Equipped with an integrated sunshade to stop glare. Fits tripods with 1/4" and 3/8" threads. Available in 65mm or 80mm objective lenses.

After purchasing a Swarovski rifle scope, I decided to check out Swarovski spotting scopes. I was amazed with the quality of the image. I purchased the 20-60 zoom scope 80mm objectives lens for hunting. I will be using this scope on a Elk hunt in Colorado this year. The weight was also light for a large scope. After waiting for about 3 years to make this purchase, I finally did it and I have no regrets. During low light conditions, this scope still allows me to see wildlife. I have checked out other spotting scopes such as the Leupold HD and Cabelas Euro prior to buying this scope and Swarovski, by far, had better image quality. Cabela's customer service was also able to get me this scope sooner as it was backordered for 8 weeks.

Well worth it

I got drawn for a premium x zone in CA this year and needed to get a new spotting scope. The swarovski made all the difference on my hunt. I was able to spot and evaluate deer that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise, and ultimately spotted and harvested a great mulie. I waited for a couple of years to get the swarovski and wish I'd bought it earlier. I had a scope before that cost about $500 and there's really no comparison. Well worth the investment.

Great Pictures

I'm not one to write reviews but this scope warrants one. I have had Swarovski 10x42 EL and an old model of their 80mm. Always been dependable and great. This winter I bought the 80mm HD and it was love at first use. The clarity is beyond anything that i had thought possible. I also take pictures with their adapter attached to it. The turn out great at all ranges. The only bad thing about my purchase is now I will have to give up my old EL's to get the new HD.
