Precision-made lenses and prisms coated with Swarovski's own Swarotop® and Swarodur® produce all-around color fidelity and crisp, high-contrast images. Watertight to a depth of 13 ft. and filled with nitrogen to prevent fogging. The zoom eyepiece with 20-60X magnification includes a twist-in eyecup, so eyeglass wearers can enjoy a full field of view. The lightweight, yet highly rugged magnesium housing is covered in a noise-absorbing rubber armor for absolute silence. Equipped with an integrated sunscreen that locks to stop glare. Fits tripods with 1/4" and 3/8" threads. Available in 65mm or 80mm objective lenses.

Just got my 80mm scope this week. I spent alot of time looking at many other brands in all price ranges at my shooting range before buying this one. Since I do a fair amount of long range shooting, I was not at all impressed with even rather pricey competitors ability to see bullet holes in targets at even 100yds. They don't have anywhere near the optical clarity of the Swarovski. With this scope you can clearly see bullet holes on targets out to 200yds and exactly where the hits are on metal silouettes out at 600-1000yds. The larger 80mm objective lens has a distinct advantage in light gathering so if you're a nature photographer, observer etc. you can see into shadows under trees and in lower light situations like twilight. This is well worth the extra money. Like they say in that movie, 'if you possibly have the means, I highly recommend it.'

Recently used my 65mm straight swarovski on a Utah elk hunt. Performed exceptionally well as do my Swaro binos. My only suggestion after using this alongside guides who have the same type of scopes.... get yourself a really good tripod to get the most out of your superb optics. This scope with a manfrotto tripod and 222 head is an ideal combination. If you buy this scope, you will never be sorry you spent the money!

I look Forward To getting in wide open spaces so that i can use my 20x60 swarovski spotting scope. You really can see things miles away,and clear. You really can make out if it's a buck or doe and worth pursuing at 5 plus miles away.
