Features a polycarbonate body to reduce weight; fully multicoated lenses and a premium BaK-4 prism for a superior image; a retractable lens shade to cut down on glare; a twist-up eyecup with four detents for easy use with or without eyewear; and Redfield's renowned waterproof and fogproof technology. A 20X to 60X magnification range provides a perfect balance of magnification and field-of-view. The standard 1/4-20 thread tripod adapter port allows for easy installation on any standard tripod or window mount. I have been looking at scopes for a couple of years at all differnt price range. One of the main reason I picked this scope is Leupold, I have had service from them in the past on binoculars and never was charged even though it was my fault.. I use this Rampage for Target shooting at up to 500 yards and can see 22 cal bullet holes well. From a setting of 20 and focused then changing it to 60, I need to refocus, but this is not a problem for me. This is a well built, great price and a company that wii back it up. I would recommend this unit.

Great Scope

I just looked at this scope today in a store and there didnt seem to be any problem with focus like in a review I read. I was able to read "1/4 lettering from 100 yards away on 60x. There is a focal adjustment on the scope. I realize thats not 2-300 yards away but from what I could tell this scope is a great buy. I am going to be purchasing one for High Power Rifle competition.

I bought this scope last fall from the Lacy, WA Store mainly to use as a Spotting Scope for muley hunting over in Eastern Washington in the wheat fields. It came with all the options mentioned and it worked well for me even though I have a window mount I used it mostly with one of the Bush Hawk Shoulder Mounts that Cabela's also carries and the Scope worked flawlessly with the shoulder mount as I could steady the scope very well in that configuration. As to the question would I recommend this scope to my friends? Yes definitely as it is a good value for the money.

1st spotting scope I have ever owned, so I can't compare too much. It has worked great for me. Used it this fall hunting and have no complaints. I have clearly seen animals well over 2 miles away. Bought a Redfield rifle scope this year, so went with them on the spotting scope too. Works Awesome!
