Night-piercing performance from a handheld spotlight at a money-saving price. Halogen bulb shines for up to 20 minutes on a single charge. Great for nighttime searches and finding tracks after sunset, it's powered by a sealed 6V/4Ah lead-acid battery. Recharge at home with the AC/DC charger or in the field with the 12-volt car adapter. Adjustable lever handle.
On my SECOND use of my brand new Thor 2.5 Million Candlepower Spotlight it BLEW UP. The bulb blew and shattered the lens. No harm done but it sure suprised me.
Good purchase if it's on sale. It seems heavy made, but I've only had it for a couple days. But that much light is too much for a 6-volt battery. You can see the light getting dimmer as you use it. Mine is brand new and the light is bright enough for practical uses for about 15 minutes. And the recommended charge time is 20 hours. I haven't tried charging it for 2 hours and trying it to see if it's bright, but who wants to charge a battery for 20 hours to get 15 minutes of use. My main use is to keep coyotes out of my yard at night. So I only use it for 2 or 3 minutes at a time. And for that it works well. But if you're going to be in the dark for any amount of time, this light won't give you much time.
