So I've had a number of spotlights over the years. Specifcally, those that you charge for a day, turn on and get 10-15 minutes of good light with.
After reading other reviews, I thought I would take a chance on the Flare and I am glad I did. The box of old spotlights is being donated next weekend. I've found everything I've been looking for with the Flare. Bright, compact, long lasting and no cords to have to keep track of, just AA batteries and go.
This is one of the best spotlights I've seen!! It's really compact, super bright yet very lightweight. The LED lights are awesome. It also runs on AA batteries so you don't have to recharge it or have a lead acid battery to go bad. There are also small LEDs to indicate battery level.
I only just got it, so I cannot comment on its durability yet.
