Golight® Stryker™ Remote Spotlight

Wireless-remote-controlled, 500,000-candlepower searchlight with exclusive Cr5 Pentabeam™ II parabolic reflector generates an extremely bright beam of light reaching distances up to a 1/2 mile. Fully adjustable with 360° rotation and 135° tilt. Spotlight is weatherproof, UV and saltwater resistant. Remote transmitters are waterproof. Integrated 12-volt, high-torque motors. Five-year limited warranty.

Problems with remote in cold weather

My recommendation is a maybe. This light is a great concept, but with a few problems. The Remote doesn't work right below 42 degrees. I have had Golight send me a couple of replacement remotes, but the same problem. This isn't very condusive to duck hunting or cold weather fishing!!!!! Its hard in the rain to keep it in your pants to keep it warm enought to work and then try and pull it out anytime you want to adjust the light or turn it on or off.

I installed the light on my boat and have used it. Plenty of focus and bright enough for the money (I also installed 2 drive lighst each side of the spot,to open the field of vision around my boat). The process to install was easy and the base plate fitted the light housing snuggly. The operation by remote is surprizingly easy and the movement has 2 speed settings. The slower is nice for finite adjustments. I was surprised how little light was emitted when the rock shield was on the face of the light! I thought it wasn't working at first then realized I had left the cover on after hauling my boat. duh. overall, I would rather buy this light than spend the huge amount for one of greaster candlepower and no greater maneuverability.

Took me 15 min to install this unit on the hard top or my boat and it was the best investment i have made in a long time. Easy install, easy to use! What more could you ask for!

Put this light on the T-Top of my new center console boat! I think it is a must have for night fishing or just riding on the lake after dark! The remote control works great!
