Lifesaver at Night

First of all, I absolutely love this light! I have to admit, at first I had some of the same trouble that others have expressed(nav lights worked, rotated but no light) and I was about to send the light back. I liked the idea of the light so much, though, that I decided to give Go-Light a call directly and see if they could help me out(their customer service rocked, by the way!) it turned out that my fuse didn't allow enough amperage to the light. I just had replace a 3 amp fuse with a 7 amp and I haven't had one problem since.
I won't go on the water without the light if there is any chance I'll be out past dark. It has kept me from hitting stumps more than once and I am totally spoiled when it comes to trailering my boat at night now.

I should have paid attention to the other reviews

The product looks great and is a great idea. It simply dosent work. I tried changing fuses, replaceing batteries in the remote and fully charging batteries on the boat. The instructions suggest replacing the gage of electrical wires. Way to much work and if I replaced the wire gage I still wasn't sure it would work. Have to send it back which is why I shop with cabellas. Never a problem

I don't know what else you could ask for. This pearl solved two big problems for me in one whack. My navigation lights are now visible above the trolling motor. I can now back down unlit boatramps in the middle of the night while adjusting the light sitting in my truck. Oh! I forgot. It lights the way so I don't hit stuff and attracts baitfish to my waiting throw net. All this with stock wiring on my 19' Sea Hunt. Good stuff.
