Don't buy! & Cabela's... Remove name from product!
Date:
At first I thought we couldn't go wrong with this seemingly awesome deal (on sale), but I was wrong. My wife ordered these lights online for me at Christmas to replace another manufacturer's 1 Million candle light that we had used reliable for more than 3 years. Infact it didn't die, the bulb went. Then it sat for awhile and I assumed thatthe battery might have been comprimised. Since we usually used it on our boat and we need it for safety, I decided to buy a new spotlight when I saw these on sale. The first set would not take a charge. The charging light would come on at first but then go off; the light itself never lit. We returned the pair to our local store. The new rechargeable spot took the charge BUT, it would only light up if you held the trigger at a certain angle & pressure, making it awkard and uncomfortable to use. I will not trust this light to work when we take our boat out at night on the ocean.
These lights, besides not working, or just barely working, feel light and very cheap;Don't buy!
Cabela's... If you value your brand, remove your name from this product. Until now, I felt that if your name was on a product I could expect good quality and value; now I will have to do research and read reviews to be confident about a future purchase. With the internet, those reviews could easily take me to another source for my outdoor purchases.
Also, these lights are not as bright as my last spot that was only 1 million candles.

Poor Product
Date:
This product is complete junk. The cordless light does not hold any charge at all. Very disappointed with the quality and would not recommend to anyone. Save your money.

Bad Investment
Date:
I bought three of these twin packs, figured they would be great for coon hunting or tracking game after dark. Right out of the box they don't hold a charge more that about 15 seconds! I am thoroughly disappointed that Cabelas would carry such cheap products. I got them at the end of season last year so am unable to return them.
The corded light works fine, but these lights have an extremely narrow beam and aren't all that bright, I'm sticking with my 6-cell M@g light.

Spend a little more
Date:
While the price is cheap, these lights are definitely NOT 1 million candle power, nor does the rechargeable light hold its charge very long. If you are truly looking for a spotlight, spend the extra money and get a decent one. You will not be happy with these lights as a spotlight.
