St. Croix has taken its already famous Tidemaster Inshore series of rods and completely redesigned them to make them stronger, lighter and more sensitive with increased hooksetting power. Each rod is handcrafted using exclusive SCII graphite blanks and is fitted with premium saltwater-grade hardware. The Fuji® DPS reel seats with frosted silver hoods are tough, durable and look great. Premium- grade cork handles deliver comfortable, durable and aesthetically pleasing performance. One-piece rods. Made in USA.

Love this pole, it's sturdy yet you can feel everything... have only used it about ten times, but have definetly found a new favorite pole for spinning rods

My trophy rod

I visit Tampa Bay from Wales to visit my daughter as an excuse to fish in the Gulf. On my last visit I bought this rod from cabela's. It is by far the best rod I have ever used,it has a superb action and perfect balance.I pair it with a Shimano sustain 3000 spooled with 10lb power pro. This is my trophy combo!. Great service from Carbela's

I have the conventional to match and was so impressed with it that I had to buy the Spinner. Excellent rod with great back bone when a big fish runs on you.

I recently purchased one of these rods in the Bargain Cave for my fishing /camping trip down to the Laguna Madre in South Texas. Well I have heard great reviews of Croix rods. So I figured 80 bucks, why not? So I bought my first Croix. A 7 foot, medium power 8-17 lb, fast action. I matched this rod with a Wright and McGill Sabalos 4000 spooled with 20 lb P-line braid. Well everything I heard about this rod were true. It casted a mile, was very sensitive, lightweight and very pleasing to the eye. It was even made in the US. But the biggest thing was it had a ton of backbone when a 30 pound black drum hit me when i was shorefishing the Mansfield jetties. I felt like I was always in control even when the fish went under the rocks. I beat the fish in about 15 minutes. These rods are worth every penny. The confidence and faith I have in these rods cant even be put in words. If you want tackle you'll never doubt give one of these a shot. You won't be disappointed.
