Great Rod
Date:
I've been keeping an eye on this rod ever since it came out a few years ago, so after breaking my current rod with my truck's tailgate, i decided to settle with this rod. I bought the 7' M for general bass fishing and the occasional trip to the surf. The M power is definitely overrated. Its much more like an H power when compared to my other rods, which makes me almost wish i had gotten the ML instead. Nonetheless, great rod with great feel, backbone and weight. Paired it up with my US Reel 230xl for a really balanced setup. Great quality rod at a great price. Will definitely be buying more soon.

great rod!
Date:
I love this rod! I purchased the 7' ml mf for trout and other spring fishing from shore. Landed a 4lb bass and many large crappie just the way I wanted too with this rod. Although it is technically not a G. Loomis and is a TFO rod it still shows all the class and quality of a Loomis! "not that anything is wrong with a TFO rod". This rod has the feel and quality of a comparable Fenwick or St. Croix of the same price with even a little bit less weight and great balance. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because even thought the guides look great and are made of excellent material, they are still metal and not ceramic wrapped. If it was not such a high quality rod I would never have gone with a rod with metal guides. Anyone who ever had there line damaged or lost a fish from guide cuts would attest to the fact. All and all if you appreciate fishing with tackle that is a little lighter and more action (medium lite, mod fast ) then a typical stiff fast action bass rod then this is a great choice.
