Pflueger® Trion GX-7 Spinning Reel

  • Instant anti-reverse
  • Anodized aluminum spool with titanium spool lip
With a lightweight graphite body and rotor and six stainless steel ball bearings, the GX-7 blends strength and smoothness. An instant anti-reverse, one-way clutch bearing gives you instant hooksets. Every reel has a Sure-Click Bail®, a smooth front drag system with stainless steel and oiled felt washers and audible drag adjustment and a large diameter titanium bearing line roller that helps prevent line twist. The anodized aluminum spool and titanium spool lip provided added line protection. And these reels also have a corrosion-resistant stainless steel main shaft and components and a machined aluminum handle with rosewood knob. Spare aluminum spool included.

This is my second Pflueger Trion GX-7 spinning reel. They are both smooth operating and casting as any reel I've used. Excellant porduct that is not cheap. It's a great value for the money.

I ordered this reel a few weeks ago for the purpose of using it for fishing stripers here in TN. I'm very pleased with it. It's smooth, yet has all the power I need for bigger fish. I highly recommend it.

i just had a new pole custom made and matched it with a trion gx7 spining reel.great choice,it works as good as my higher priced reels, casts great ,exel drag and silky smoothe retrive.don't think twice buy one.thanks,fisher46.
