The Regal Plus Bite N’ Run reel has seven ball and roller bearings with an aluminum ABS spool. Dual, selectable infinite anti-reverse for solid hooksets. The wet system front drag has a front adjustment while the preset adjustment is conveniently mounted in the rear. Diawa’s automatic Bite N’ Run™ system lets a fish take a trolled or drifted bait while feeling little or no resistance. When you’re ready to set the hook, just turn the handle and instantly get the maximum amount of drag tension you have preset.
These rods are built with the same durability as the original Whuppin’ Stick rods, plus the extras needed to handle extreme saltwater environments. Each blank is crafted of a powerful, nearly indestructible E-Glass and T-Glass blend for the backbone it takes to heft the bruisers out of the depths or the shallows. All are outfitted with graphite reel seats for extra sensitivity and soft EVA grips for a sure-handed grip, even when completely wet. Stainless steel frame guides with ceramic inserts. Nylon gimbal butt with cap.
