These updated rods are built on our legendary XML 64 million-modulus, spiral-core-technology graphite blanks. They feature lightweight, super-durable SS316 stainless steel Alps® guides, double coated with black chrome for maximum corrosion resistance. Precise guide spacing compacts the distance between guides from the middle to the tip of the rod. This increases sensitivity and decreases line drag. Spinning models have palm-swell American Tackle Aero reel seats. Grips are made of premium cork and have thread-covering down-locking fore grips. Butts are compatible with our Weight-Balancing System, available separately.
