Save money and land yourself a superb inshore fishing setup with our Salt Striker rod and reel combo. It teams a Salt Striker Spinning Reel with a Salt Striker Spinning Rod to prepare you for anything from speckled trout to tarpon. The reel is built to withstand harsh saltwater environments. Nine ball bearings, one roller bearing and a super-smooth drive make fishing this reel a pleasure. Instant anti-reverse ensures slack-free hooksets. An aluminum spool with a titanium lip extends your casting range. A Hydro Shield™ multidisc front drag system adjusts quickly for maximum control and seals out debris. A titanium-plated ceramic line roller lays and feeds line perfectly. The handle can switch between right- and left-handed retrieve. Our Salt Striker™ inshore rods offer lengths and actions that are proven to produce from Texas to the Carolinas. 100% high-modulus graphite construction reduces the overall weight of these rods and provides strength, sensitivity and optimum performance. As an added feature, we’ve outfitted them with Batson’s new SS316 guides, made from high-grade stainless steel for better corrosion resistance. And we included premium cork grips for improved sensitivity. Actions are tailored for everything from popping corks with bait and finessing plastics to cranking plugs and topwater baits. Plus, there are models with the backbone and strength to land inshore monsters like tarpon, snook and permit. Graphite reel seats. LB (live bait) models have a softer tip action for throwing live bait.

Hands down the best combo i ever got

i have used this combo at least a dozen times and it worked great i have pulled in 20lbs striped bass with this and for the price you cant beat it

Quality at a Great price

Best light tackle combo I have every bought. Spooled with 10lb braid it casts a country mile. The action of the rod is fast and just the way I like it. It can give life to a soft plastic shrimp and still has enough backbone to fight large stripers.

I bought one combo, and liked it so much I bought another. Fished the Pine Island area of SW Florida for 14 months. The combos perform flawlessly, and can handle anything from Trout to sharks! Awesome combo - Cabela's, please don't charge what these beauties are really worth!

I bought the ISS764 rod with the SS50 reel combo and took it to Florida for two weeks. I caught several sharks in the 6-7 foot range and brought them up to the boat after quite a fight before cutting the line. I also caught some grouper in the 30-40 lb range and landed them.

The combo worked quite well and is nice looking.
