Poor quality
Date:
Parts (body, grind plates, auger and handle) are cast iron and did not fit properly. It was clearly evident that the parts were never assembled and tested as a unit before sending. The hopper (sheet metal) didn't fit because of a defect with the cast iron body. I could have worked around this except for the fact that the grind plates were crooked causing the plates to rub during operation. Tried assembling again, re-adjusting, read all the directions again but still no dice. I have no issues with cast iron, but if the company selling the parts cannot even test it, before shipping it out, it's highly likely that fit issues will be present.
I do not recommend this product!!!

Do it the old fashion way!
Date:
Made corn meal & wheat flour. Used an old time recipe for cornbread & the family loved it. I took the chaff from the corn for chicken feed & made homade cream of wheat with the leftovers from grinding the wheat. Also good workout for your arms.
