Magnus® Bullhead Broadheads

  • Large 3" or 4" cutting surface
  • Created for head and neck shots
  • Razor-sharp stainless steel blades
  • Per 3
Arrow that tom with confidence and don’t worry about tracking him with the new Bullhead Broadheads by Magnus. These broadheads have excellent flight out of the fastest bows and ensure a clean, ethical kill. The large cutting surface is created for head and neck shots for turkey and all sorts of small game. While most broadheads bury in the weeds after a missed shot, the large diameter of the blades act as a brake and stop the arrow from sneaking into grass and cover. The 100-grain, three blade has a 3" cutting surface, while the 125-grain has a 4" cutting surface with razor-sharp stainless steel blades with a thickness of .048 thousands. The screw-in ferrule is made out of the strongest aircraft aluminum for extreme strength and durability. Heads come assembled with one set of replacement blades. Per 3.
Available: 100-grain, 3"; 125-grain, 4".

the ultimate turkey broadhead
Date:
Last year i purchased 3 different turkey heads, the magnus bullhead, rage and xchange lopper. magnus bullhead far excels past theother 2. i took 2 big toms with the bullhead and cleanly sliced both heads clear off. they fly great and if you bend or break a blade you send to magnus and they replace them, because they have a lifetime guarantee. the rage is ok for body shots but i lost too many birds shooting them in the body, the xchange lopper didnot fly good. if you bowhunt turkeys with a bow DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY THE BULLHEADS!

Plan on replacing blades, but DEADLY!!!
Date:
I bought these heads and their major competitors to try out for fall turkeys (Gobbler Guillotines).
Obviously, with long thin blades like these, you're going to bend/break blades, and you're going to slice up your foam targets pretty quickly, but with the bullet like design, they really do fly to the same point of aim as my field points, so I didn't have to do a lot of practice with the actual heads.
Sticking them in the dirt after cutting off a turkey's head is kind of hard on the blades (damaged 1 blade on 2 heads out of 4 turkeys down this fall#.
I clocked mine so they lined up with my fletching, with one blade pointing straight up. I literally sliced the head COMPLETELY off of two birds this fall.
I only had ONE body shot #tom facing me straight on, cut his head off, then passed through his body#, and it obviously did the job, but if you can group better than 2" at the range you're hunting, you can totally avoid meat loss altogether #and avoid a messy dressing job# and simply slice their heads off #sever spine or arteries, either way, hit their head or neck with ONE blade and they're going down!#.
It DOES help to run a pretty heavy arrow with these. It helps keep the arrow from "whipping" when one blade catches the turk #i.e. shaft center missing by an inch#. The extra weight helps drive the tip of the blade through the neck, rather than letting it glance the arrow around.
Like for any broadhead, keep them sharp and they'll work better.

The best Turkey broadhead ever made!
Date:
i have now taken 6 birds with the 125 bullhead with all the same results, DEAD. dead on contact. after years of losing birds with fixed blade heads or mechanical heads, finally with the bullhead, turkeys dont stand a chance. Excellent flight using the arrow system magnus recommends, and they have a lifetime replacement guarantee. do your self a favor and buy the bullhead and you will see your turkey success go thru the roof. I LOVE THEM!!!!
